South Africans urged to continue adhering to water restrictions

The national dam level average is sitting at over 50%, with the department hoping that more water will be accumulated as a result of the expected rainfall this week.
The department says an average of over 70% will be enough to get South Africans through next year’s winter.
Spokesperson Sputnik Ratau said, “We have seen some positives and even some steps backwards in some areas. We would still like to encourage everybody to actually adhere to those restrictions where they are being implemented.”
