Extradition of British sex offender postponed
Lee Tucker appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates Court this morning.
CAPE TOWN - The extradition case against an alleged British sex offender has been postponed until next month.
Lee Tucker appeared in the Cape Town magistrates court this morning.
The 52-year-old worked as a helicopter pilot in the city after fleeing the UK in 2000 before he could be sentenced for sex offences.
The crimes are believed to have been committed between 1983 and 1993.
His bail has been extended until his next court appearance, at the end of January.
Tucker's been subjected to strict bail conditions, since his release from custody earlier this year.
He was originally arrested in Bristol in 1998, for his role in a paedophile ring that allegedly targeted minor boys.
Tucker has been living in Cape Town for more than 15 years.
