Body of man who went missing at Sedgefield Lagoon found

Emergency crews have discovered the body of a 40-year-old man who went missing at Sedgefield Lagoon on Sunday.

CAPE TOWN - Emergency crews have discovered the body of a man who went missing at Sedgefield Lagoon on Sunday.

The 40-year old had gone swimming during a braai with his family.

Meanwhile, authorities have rescued a man who accidentally drove his vehicle into the sea at Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay early on Tuesday morning.

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI)'s Craig Lambinon says: “On Tuesday morning, NSRI personnel responded to Central Beach where a man had been reportedly driven their vehicle into the sea. No one was injured and the vehicle was recovered by tractor. ”
