No rewrite after maths paper leak in Limpopo
Last month it emerged that some pupils at Giyani High School had access to the paper.
JOHANNESBURG - The Basic Education Department says there will not be a rewrite following a Maths exam paper leak at a Limpopo high school.
Last month it emerged that some pupils at Giyani High School had access to the paper before they sat to write the exam.
Tinyiko Khosa, aged 56, is suspected of being the mastermind behind the leak and is currently behind bars.
The department’s spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga says only a few pupils had access to the leaked paper.
“We know who the learners are who had access to the paper and we know where they are. We feel that because they’ve been identified it is necessary to proceed with the disciplinary process, to establish who is guilty or innocent.”
