CAPE TOWN – Thousands of train commuters have had to endure another morning of delays.

Metrorail is still experiencing problems following the vandalism of signalling equipment over the weekend.

Frustrated commuters are waiting around a station platform waiting for any sign of a train.

Those who have given up stand outside the station looking for taxis.

Several taxis at the Huguenot station are filling up quickly.

Metrorail management has warned of delays of up to an hour or more on most lines.
