10 children injured after minibus crashes into wall

JOHANNESBURG - Ten children with special needs have been injured after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a wall in Ruimsig, west of Johannesburg, this morning.
It’s understood the driver of the minibus lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall.
Paramedics say all the children have been transported to the Leratong Hospital where they’re being treated for their injuries.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says the driver suffered serious injuries.
“Emergency services had to use the jaws of life equipment to free the man from the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to Leratong Hospital in a stable condition. Fortunately none of the children were seriously injured, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.”
