The private investigator speaks to 702’s Xolani Gwala about a case relating to defeating the ends of justice linked to acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
JOHANNESBURG - On Wednesday, the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) confirmed it is investigating acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
While the unit declined to provide any further details relating to the case, it’s alleged Phahlane interfered with witnesses during a probe into the construction of his luxury house in an upmarket estate north of Pretoria.
It’s understood private investigator Paul O'Sullivan opened the case against Phahlane almost a year ago.
