The provincial executive committee says it’s concerned over the suspended chairperson’s public criticism of the party.

JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress in the Western Cape's executive committee has come out strongly against its suspended chairperson, Marius Fransman.

The provincial executive committee says it’s concerned over the suspended chairperson’s public criticism of the party.

EWN’s Xolani Koyana told CapeTalk's John Maytham that the ANC is not taking Fransman’s public statement lightly as this could damage the image of the organisation.

Fransman can appeal his suspension within 21 days of the initial decision to suspend him.
