7 people killed following collision on R101 in Limpopo

JOHANNESBURG – Seven people have been killed and another is critically injured following a collision on the R101 in Pienaars River in Limpopo.

It’s understood the bakkie the group was travelling in collided head on with a truck last night.

The occupants of the heavy loaded truck escaped unharmed, while the driver of the bakkie has been transported to hospital in a critical condition.

The police’s Moathse Ngoepe says, “Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide emanating from the death of seven people after a bakkie which was transporting these seven people and truck collided head-on, killing all seven people.”
