Toddlers survive New Jersey bridge suicide attempt
The toddlers were in their father's arms when he jumped off the bridge in New Jersey.
JOHANNESBURG - Two children have survived a 100 foot (30.48m) fall in what appears to be an attempted murder- suicide in New Jersey.
According to reports, the one-year-old and three-year-old boys were in their father's arms when he plunged off the Wanaque Bridge.
The father, John Spincken, is believed to have been in a domestic dispute before taking the plunge. He died in the fall.
Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
