Nzimande reiterates commitment to finding solution to fee crisis
He says the government has short, medium & long term plans to address issues at tertiary institutions.
CAPE TOWN - Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande has reiterated a commitment to finding a long-term solution to the university crisis.
Nzimande made the comments during a briefing in Parliament today.

He's detailed government will foot the bill for the registration fees of poor students and those from the so-called missing middle.
Nzimande adds students funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme with historic debt, will also be allowed to register next year.

Opposition parties in Parliament however have called for more decisive actions on the part of political leaders, in addition to the fee concessions.
