CAPE TOWN - The bail hearing of a man accused of killing metro police officer Ben Koopman has again been postponed in the Blue Downs Magistrates court.
CCTV footage shows Koopman was ambushed by two assailants while leaving his home in Eerste River.
They fled the scene with the officer's service pistol and a hand held radio.
Katrien Koopman and family and friends of her murdered husband had waited at court since early this morning.

Christopher Jantjies only appeared before noon.
Then, before his bail application could start, the defence requested a postponement because the advocate needed to attend to another matter.
Apparently a witness in that case is only able to testify today.
A visibly irritated magistrate, who had cleared his roll specifically to accommodate what could be a lengthy bail hearing, granted the request.
Jantjies will now formally apply for bail on 8 November.
