JOHANNESBURG - Rachel Kolisi, the wife of Springbok loose forward Siya Kolisi, has hit out at people who have attacked her and her family on social media.

Rachel Kolisi, who is white, spoke out against racial slurs about her marriage to Kolisi that have been posted on Twitter and Facebook in particular.

Kolisi shared a string of hate messages sent to her from a man named Charles Hermon.

In one of the messages which contained vulgar sexual references‚ Hermon wrote: "Leave Africa and go back to Europe and leave our good men to our own beautiful black women."

In an interview Kolisi explains how before the Rugby World Cup, her husband received an offensive message from a white man with similar undesirable opinions on their marriage.

She says the attacks aren't limited to a specific, race or gender but they happen very often.
