GED ready for 2016 matric examination
Over 800,000 grade 12 learners will be sitting for the national senior certificate examinations.
JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Education Department says it's ready for the 2016 matric examination, which will begin later this month.
Over 800,000 grade 12 learners will be sitting for the national senior certificate examinations, at around 7,000 examination centres across the country.
The department's Oupa Bodibe says this year's group will be the second largest number of matric pupils the province has ever had.
"We wish them well and urge them to follow all the tips that were given to them to prepare for the exams. They must get enough rest to avoid fatigue."
