EFFSC threatens to bring Tshwane to a standstill
The EFF Student Command has reiterated its call for free quality education for all.
JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command (EFFSC) says it wants to shut down the capital city of Tshwane as part of its efforts to intensify the call for the introduction of free education.
Several universities remain closed and protesting Fees Must Fall students continue to cause disruptions on campuses across the country.
The EFFSC says it is now ready to intensify its actions.
The EFFSC has reiterated its call for free quality education, not just for the poor, but for all.

EFFSC President Mpho Morolane believes wider society should join the protesting students as they try to bring Tshwane to a stand-still.
"Our proposal is that you must shut down your workplaces. When we engage learners our proposal will be to shut down schools."

Morolane says demonstrating students also plan to occupy the Higher Education Department's offices in Tshwane.
