JOHANNESBURG - President Jacob Zuma says the rumours of a Cabinet reshuffle are clearly the work of mischievous people who don't have the country's best interest at heart.

A list made the rounds on social media, showing the names of new ministers and their deputies to be appointed in an apparent Cabinet reshuffle.

But the president has rejected the rumours.

His spokesperson Bongani Ngqulunga says: "For us it is clearly the work of mischievous people who was to sow confusion and uncertainty. And President Zuma strongly condemns this malicious dissemination of untruthful information."
