A Nyanga doctor appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on charges of sexual assault & rape.
CAPE TOWN - A Nyanga doctor accused of raping a patient may soon face additional charges.
This emerged in the Wynberg Magistrates Court earlier today, when Oluwabusuyi Babalola appeared on charges of sexual assault and rape.
State prosecutor Pumeza Mtuyedwa-Zondi told the court the doctor faces four counts of rape.
She requested a postponement explaining the State needs to collect more information about the alleged attacks.

But Babalola's lawyer objected, saying he only heard about the latest developments today.
The court heard Babalola, who's married with two young children, does not have any pending warrants of arrest or other cases against him.
