Metrorail in Pretoria says while there were some delays, peak hour commuters have been serviced.
JOHANNESBURG - Metrorail says one of its trains has derailed and crashed at the De Wildt station in Pretoria.
Officials say no injuries have been reported as no passengers were on board the train carriage that came off the tracks this morning.
Investigations are underway into the cause of the accident.
Metrorail spokesperson Lillian Mofokeng says while there were some delays, peak hour commuters have been serviced.
"We did experience about 45 minutes delay in the morning for the morning peak, however, we managed to clear all the commuters and we're currently working with the technical team on site clearing the scene."
