Limpopo police arrest 5 car thief suspects at Beitbridge

JOHANNESBURG - Police in Limpopo have arrested five suspects believed to be part of a syndicate involved in the smuggling of cars from South Africa to Zimbabwe.
The men from South Africa were arrested last night at the Beitbridge border post and police say the used the Limpopo river to move the vehicles across the border.
Four stolen cars were seized during the operation.
The police's Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspects will appear in court today.
"The arrested suspects will be appearing before Musina Magistrates Court today on a charge of possession of stolen motor vehicles. Our investigation are still continuing."
