WASHINGTON - Jennifer Aniston reportedly believes Brad Pitt's divorce from Angelina Jolie is "karma".
The 47-year-old former Friends actress, who divorced the _Fury _actor in 2005 after five years of marriage, is said to think her former partner has finally got his comeuppance for dating the _Maleficent _star immediately after their split 11 years ago.
Speaking about Jennifer's reaction to the split, an insider told Us Weekly magazine: "Yeah, that's karma for you!
"She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually.
"She didn't feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He's a pretty simple guy."
However, Jennifer "never" wanted the pair's romance to come to an end.
Another source explained, "Admittedly [Jennifer] feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina's split," she also "never wanted this for them or wished this on them."
The Cake star, who is now married to Justin Theroux, has wished Brad good luck for the future and hopes he will be as "happy" as she is.
Angelina reportedly decided to end her two-year marriage from the 52-year-old actor after growing "extremely upset" with how Brad was parenting their children.
CLOONEY SADDENED BY BRAD AND ANGELINA SPLIT
Meanwhile, George Clooney had no idea about his close friend Pitt and Jolie's divorce, and said he is "very sorry" for their family.
The 55-year-old actor has been a close friend of the Hollywood hunk since they met on the set of Ocean's Eleven in 2001.
Speaking to American news channel CNN, the Money Monster actor said, "I didn't know that. Wow. I feel very sorry then.
"That's a sad story and unfortunate for a family. It's an unfortunate story about a family.
"I feel very sorry to hear that. That's the first I've heard of it."
The divorce might have come as a shock to Hollywood hunk George, but it would seem other friends of the famous couple knew of the troubles in the two-year marriage, and said the divorce had been "brewing for a long time".
A friend of the pair said, "I could say the divorce announcement is a shock, but it's not. This divorce deal has been brewing for a long time.
"When Angelina underwent her mastectomy in 2013, her health and life in general became a priority for her. Her views on life changed. Suddenly she saw herself walking in her late mother's shoes, and she was no longer that wild, fun loving woman she used to be, she was taking things a lot more seriously.
"Brad was supportive, and wanted to be there for her, so they decided to marry, more for the sake of their six children than themselves."
