ANC loses logo case against City of Cape Town
A court has dismissed ANC's application for leave to appeal in a legal battle over the city's logo.
About two years ago, the ANC took legal action arguing there was no public participation process in choosing and implementing the new branding.
The application has been dismissed with costs.
The city's Pierrine Leukes, says the municipality has been vindicated.
"The ANC does not understand the concept of having a progressive vision for the city, the court ruling proved their lack of vision once more. The City of Cape Town will now pursue payment from the Luthuli House."
