Cosmo City residents protest against high crime levels

JOHANNESBURG - Protestors in Cosmo City are taking a stand against the high crime rate in their community.
Some have taken their grievances to the streets.
Residents are expected to hand over a memorandum at the Gauteng Community Safety Department later this morning.
The Metro Police's Wayne Minnaar says: "The protesters have now moved to Newtown in the inner city. From 11 they will then march up Lilian Ngoyi Street, down Simmonds Street to hand over the memorandum."
