Mandoza's family thanks South Africans for support
The singer is set to undergo chemotherapy on a brain tumour later this month.
JOHANNESBURG - The family of kwaito star Mandoza say they are hopeful his health will improve as he battles a brain tumour.
The musician, known for his hit song Nkalakatha is still in a stable condition at home.
As he prepares to undergo chemotherapy later this month, messages of well wishes and support continue to pour in from the public.
The musician has also said he's hopeful about his recovery.
His friend and former manager Vaughn Eaton says Mandoza's family appreciates the influx of support.
"The family is very upbeat and they're very confident that Mandoza is going to be healed. We're just standing with them in terms of making sure that he be healed. I would suppose that they're very grateful for the support. They will just ask everybody to continue praying for him."
