JOHANNESBURG - Eben Etzebeth is set to earn his 50th Test cap on Saturday when he starts for the Springboks against the Wallabies.
In doing so, he will become the youngest South African to do so at 24 years, nine months and 12 days, surpassing the record set by Pat Lambie.
Juan de Jongh and Jesse Kriel make up the new midfield combination while Francois Hougaard is back at wing pushing Bryan Habana to 14. Lourens Adriaanse gets first start in Springbok jersey.
While Tendai Mtawarira will play in his 81st Test match, surpassing Os Du Randt as the most capped Springbok prop in history.
