JOHANNESBURG - The Limpopo Traffic Department says its monitoring traffic closely as members of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) descend on the church's headquarters in Moria.

Buses and private cars transporting ZCC congregants, to the church's September conference, are arriving in large numbers.

The department's spokesperson Kagiso Mootane says they are expecting high traffic volumes this afternoon from Gauteng as the main event is expected to be held tomorrow morning.

"Our traffic officers are all over the province, monitoring N1 North and N1 South. We are advising our motorists to abide by the rules of the road and make sure that buses, trucks and minibuses are roadworthy and are operating with legal documents."
