About 200 current and former learners protested against the school's policies today, demanding to meet Principal Charmaine Murray.
Parents of protesting learners have demanded the Western Cape Education Department look into their children's claims of racism and discrimination at Sans Souci.
"Miss Murray needs to be taken away," said one parent.
Protesting learners say they're angry that Principal Murray seemed to have fled the school under police protection to avoid engaging with them.
Many learners ran out of the school hall after officials from the department told them Murray would not be speaking to them today.
They did not give a reason why.
Schafer joined the meeting while it was underway and has vowed to look into the allegations.
