CAPE TOWN - Acting Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) Chief Executive Officer, Collins Letsoalo, says the rail agency board's chairperson Popo Molefe, has to consult him around issues at the parastatal.

Prasa representatives addressed the media yesterday, announcing an intervention plan to deal with operational challenges at the institution.

According to reports, Molefe has said the African National Congress received money from Prasa.

Both Letsoalo and the ANC have denied these claims.

"Popo Molefe is not Prasa, Lucky Montana is not Prasa. They are not even in the executive of Prasa. If you ask Popo Molefe what is happening at Prasa, he will ask me. I don't even know this fascination with Popo Molefe and Lucky Montana is about."
