Teaching resumes at WC school following protest
A group of disgruntled parents blocked the entrance to the Saxonsea Primary School in Atlantis.
CAPE TOWN - Teaching has resumed at an Atlantis primary school following protests by some parents.
Some of the demonstrators were arrested yesterday after they disrupted classes.
People can be seen sweeping the streets around Saxonsea Primary School, cleaning up debris used during yesterday's protest.
A group of disgruntled parents blocked the entrance to the school yesterday. They claim proper procedures weren't followed in the appointment of the principal.

But the provincial education department insists the appointment is above board.
Eleven people have been arrested for public violence.
