WC authorities expect tourism boost in summer

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape tourism authorities say they're expecting another bumper summer season.
Tourism MEC Alan Winde says the province has already recorded more than 10 percent growth in the sector in the first half of the year.
Winde says the tourism sector will definitely see further growth this summer.
"I think we are looking at a great season. Internally, if you look at the type of investment happening, there are many hotels that have been built which shows there's a demand."
