[LISTEN] MEC Lesufi concerned over alleged racism at Pretoria school

Talk Radio 702 host John Robbie spoke to Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, after girls attending Pretoria Girls High School were apparently instructed to straighten their hair.

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, will launch an investigation into racial discrimination at Pretoria High School for Girls.

This comes girls attending the school were apparently instructed to straighten their hair and not wear dreadlocks.

The protest has gone viral, sparking a national conversation regarding codes of conduct at schools.
