Woman arrested with over R5m worth of tik to appear in court

CAPE TOWN - A Johannesburg woman arrested with tik worth more than R5 million in her possession at Cape Town International Airport is expected to appear in court today.

She was arrested on Wednesday after disembarking a flight from East London.

The police's Frederick Van Wyk said: "Further investigations lead to the discovery of tik worth an estimated street value of R5.4 million which was seized. The woman is to appear in the Khayelitsha crimes court on a charge of dealing in drugs."
