CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille says Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu is doing well in hospital.
De Lille has spoken to Eyewitness News after visiting the Arch in hospital today.
Tutu admitted himself on Wednesday to receive treatment for a recurring infection and is expected to remain in the hospital for the next week or two.
De Lille says he was in a joking mood during her visit.
