Alleged corrupt constable arrested in Milnerton
Western Cape police have arrested a Milnerton-based detective on charges of corruption.
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police have arrested a Milnerton-based detective on charges of corruption.
The 31-year-old constable was taken into custody while on duty earlier this week.
The police's Frederick Van Wyk says, "The fight against corruption in police ranks was given a boost on 23 August when an investigation into allegations of illegal activities engaged in by a police official came [to light]. The 31-year-old police officer was arrested whilst on duty at Milnerton Police Station."
