CAPE TOWN - The newly-elected mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay says cadre deployment in the municipality will come to an end.
Athol Trollip delivered his inaugural speech at the Feather Market Hall yesterday.
He told the crowd, the municipality had been spending too much on glamorous events and flashy cars.
Trollip will lead the metro for the next five years.
"I believe that all people are inherently good and that they become bad or get corrupted by circumstances and individuals.
"So I'll make sure that our administration is clean and that we'll keep politics or politicians out of the administration and hold the administrators accountable to do their job."
