A day after his historic win, men's 400m world record holder and Olympic champion Wayde van Niekerk opens up to EWN's Jean Smyth about not having full confidence in himself ahead of his final and what he learned from Usain Bolt.

Wayde van Niekerk broke a 17-year-old world record on his way to Olympic gold in the men's 400m final. While his performance blew his rivals away and surprised many, the South African though confesses that he did not have full confidence in himself going into the final.
