[LISTEN] Has life improved in Marikana four years on?

Andries Nkome, the lawyer representing the Marikana miners, spoke to Talk Radio 702’s John Robbie about the 2012 massacre and what’s been done since.

JOHANNESBURG - In August 2012 a total of 44 people were killed during a violent unprotected strike over wages at the North West platinum mine.

Four years later, little has improved for the miners and their families since the tragic incident, according to the lawyer representing the 200 injured miners, Andries Nkome.

The incident sparked international outcry over police brutality.

702's John Robbie spoke to Nkome on what has happened to the families of the 200 miners since the incident.
