SA's net reserves rise to $40.9bn in July

JOHANNESBURG South Africas net gold and foreign exchange reserves rose to $40.901 billion in July from $40.826 billion in June, Reserve Bank data showed on Monday.

The forward position, which represents the central banks unsettled or swap transactions, edged up to $1.723 billion from $1.616 billion.
