CAPE TOWN - Metrorail says it's highly unlikely a train fire at Retreat Station could have been caused by an electrical fault.

Four train carriages were damaged in the blaze yesterday.

Metrorail's Richard Walker says the trains affected by the fire were not being fed by power lines at the time.

Delays on the Southern Line can be expected this afternoon.
