‘SA's democracy is maturing’

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Anglican Archbishop Thabo Makgoba says he believes South Africa's democracy is maturing.
Makgoba cast his vote in Wynberg yesterday afternoon after visiting various polling stations in the city.
Makgoba is an observer for the Electoral Code of Conduct Observer Commission.
He says South Africa has come a long way in 22 years.
"Of course, my vote still gives me goose bumps as a South African, it takes me back to 1994 when I voted for the first time and the election was in our church in our home in Johannesburg and I was a deputy presiding officer to my wife."
