EWN Poll: Should the ANC be worried Mbeki met the EFF? Your results
Yesterday, the Economic Freedom Fighters visited former President Thabo Mbeki at his home in JHB.
JOHANNESBURG - Earlier today, Eyewitness News asked you whether the ANC should be worried about former president Thabo Mbeki's meeting the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) yesterday.
The options were:
- Yes, ANC should be worried
- It was petty politics
- Strategic move by Malema
- He can meet who he wants
The poll opened at 8am today and by 2:19pm, a total of 1,055 people had voted.

At least 179 people thought the ANC should be worried, 127 thought it was petty politics, 338 said it was a strategic move by EFF leader Julius Malema; and 411 believed Mbeki could meet whoever he wants.
Yesterday, Malema, accompanied by the party's top brass, met with Mbeki behind closed doors at his home in Johannesburg.
The EFF leader said the party went to see the former president to try and persuade him to vote for the red berets.
Soon after the visit, Twitter was abuzz with the news and the hashtag #ThaboMbeki made the rounds.
