JOHANNESBURG - The Emirates Lions put in one of their best performances of the season in seeing off the defending champions in Johannesburg.

Johan Ackermann's charges scored five tries to four, again it was a fast start that saw the men in red and white lead 17-6 at the break, before the heavens opened in the second half.

Eltjon Jantjies' added another fine outing to an impressive season as he marshalled his side with some clever kicks and fine tactical awareness, and after beating the seven-time champions last weekend, and adding the scalp of the defending champions on Saturday, the Lions now travel to Wellington in New Zealand to face the Hurricanes in next weekend's final.
