Cops make R3.2m crystal meth bust at OR Tambo Airport
A 41-year-old man was arrested shortly after landing at the airport on a plane from Nigeria earlier today.
JOHANNESBURG - There has been a major drug bust at the OR Tambo International Airport, where a man has been arrested after being caught with about R3 million worth of crystal methamphetamine.
The 41-year-old suspect was handcuffed shortly after landing at the airport on a plane from Nigeria earlier today.
The police's Ndivhuwo Mulamu says the suspect will appear in court on Monday.
"The suspect just landed from Lagos, this morning. When his luggage was searched they found about 10.8 kilograms of crystal meth worth R3.2 million."
