CAPE TOWN - A police officer has been discharged from hospital after he was shot in the Durbanville area, in Cape Town.

The official and a colleague were responding to a robbery earlier this week when they came under attack.

The police's Andre Traut said: "No one has been arrested yet. Any person with information regarding the incident is requested to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111."
