This is the second small tornado to hit the province this week, with the first one in Magaliesburg yesterday.

In the video, there is a dark, thick, heavy and grey cloud moving towards the Koesterfontein area.

The video was shot at a distance so it's not yet clear if the tornado damaged any infrastructure or left anyone injured.

As the cloud moved, it starts to rain.

The South African Weather Service has issued a number of warnings throughout the country, as widespread showers and thundershowers are expected to continue today.

Temperatures are also expected to remain low until Thursday.

Yesterday, there was major flooding in and around Durban and heavy snowfall in the Free State and Eastern Cape.
