High praise for Michelle Obama after speech at the DNC
Michelle Obama brought down the house at the DNC, delivering a powerful speech endorsing Hillary Clinton.
JOHANNESBURG - Many on Twitter are now calling for US First Lady Michelle Obama to run for president of the United State after she gave " the speech of her life" at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
She lit up the Twittershere with many expressing their admiration, love and praise.
Obama's speech was particularly influential on the night where deep divisions were on display on a disorderly first day of the DNC, with Bernie Sanders portraying Hillary Clinton as a fellow soldier in his fight for economic equality while his supporters jeered the mere mention of her name.
In her speech, she asked the crowd to choose a president who would be a good role model for the nation's children.
