JHB woman due in court after massive tik bust
The woman was caught with tik worth almost R2 million at Cape Town International Airport.
CAPE TOWN - A woman will appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court today after she was caught with tik worth almost R2 million at Cape Town International Airport.
The woman who resides in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, was apprehended during a search at the airport at the weekend.
The police's Frederick van Wyk, "After the passengers had collected their luggage from the carousel, the border police, based at Cape Town International Airport, did random searches. They found 8,1kg of tik with an estimated street value of R1,8 million in the woman's suitcase."
