Patriotic Alliance vows to empower coloured people
The PA’s Gayton Mckenzie says for once, the needs of coloured people need to be put first.
CAPE TOWN - The Patriotic Alliance (PA) is promising to empower coloured people as the party campaigns ahead of next month's elections.
The party will contest most major metros in the upcoming municipal elections.
The PA's Gayton Mckenzie says for once, the needs of coloured people need to be put first.
"It's a party for every man but it specifically talks about coloured issues because no one talks about coloured issues."
Mckenzie claims unlike other parties, their promises are realistic.
"We will be crating entrepreneurs instead of telling people that we will give them jobs and they will then create jobs."
He adds that all marginalised people are welcome, even though the party regards itself as the official party for coloured people.
