Police arrest 3 people in a drug bust in CT

Police confiscated more than R50,000 in cash and various drugs, including ecstasy and tik tablets.

CAPE TOWN - Three people have been arrested in a drug bust on Kloof Street in Cape Town.

Police confiscated more than R50,000 in cash and various drugs, including ecstasy and tik tablets.

Three canisters of liquid acid worth R180,000 were also seized.

The suspects were arrested during an operation last night.

The police's Noloyiso Rwexana said, "A flat that they stay in Kloof Street was searched by police and they found R55,250 in cash and upon further investigation two black bags containing high quality dagga, with estimated street value of R250,000 and other drugs."
