DA urges Capetoninans to rally behind the party
Mmusi Maimane claims other parties have nothing substantive to offer while the DA has a track record in CT.
CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance (DA) has urged Capetonians to get behind the party for what it calls a clean and effective government.
The party held a rally in Khayelitsha today where leader Mmusi Maimane told the gathering a vote for the ANC is support for corruption while one for the Economic Freedom Fighters means chaos.
The DA has vowed to slash the country's high unemployment rate and prevent the loss of billions of rand in fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
Maimane claims other parties have nothing substantive to offer while the DA has a track record in Cape Town.
"We've shown that where we govern we govern better, we've shown that the quality of life improves for residents. We are the only alternative for South Africa. The choice is whether you want to vote for a corrupt government or in the ANC or vote for a clean government that creates jobs, delivers services and ensures that it fights against corruption, that's a choice in the DA."
