Woman arrested at CT Airport for possession of drugs worth over R1m
The woman is expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Monday.
CAPE TOWN - A woman was arrested after she was found with drugs valued at more than a R1 million at Cape Town International Airport.
Police made the discovery yesterday morning.
The Police's Noloyiso Rwexana said: "The suspect came off a flight from OR Tambo to Cape Town International Airport when she was arrested. The police conducted a random search and inside a suitcase of 33-year-old woman they found 5kg of tik hidden between clothes."
The woman is expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Monday.
